Blackmagic Design UltraStudio 4K Extreme3 (Thunderbolt not included)

The UltraStudio 4K Extreme3 is a professional capture and playback solution for high-end video work. It is designed for serious post-production, broadcast monitoring, ingest, mastering and quality control where reliable SDI, HDMI and high-resolution workflows are needed.

Practical example of how Visual Impact uses it:
Visual Impact would use this in advanced post-production and broadcast environments where footage needs to be captured, monitored or played out at a very high standard. On larger productions, it can be used for ingesting camera feeds, feeding master monitors, outputting finished edits, or connecting a powerful workstation into a professional SDI environment.
