The Hollyland COSMO C2 HDMI/SDI Wireless Video Transmission System (1TX + 1RX) is a professional, broadcast-grade wireless monitoring kit tailored for cinematography teams, live television directors, focus pullers, and demanding production sets.
Building directly on the legacy of the Cosmo C1, the C2 system integrates Hollyland’s updated HEVO 2.0 processing engine. This base 1TX + 1RX package establishes a rock-solid single-camera pipeline while offering the unique scalability to expand into a multi-camera workflow (up to 2TX to 1RX) down the road without buying an extra receiver.
Key Technical Performance Features
-
Expanded 3,000-Foot Wireless Radius: Powered by the HEVO 2.0 hardware protocol, the system transmits uncompressed Full HD video across an expansive 3,000 feet (1,000 meters) line-of-sight range, easily covering large sports arenas, deep film sets, or complex multi-floor venue architecture.
-
Zero-Lag 33ms Monitoring Latency: Real-time data delay is kept to a near-imperceptible 33 milliseconds. Focus pullers can pull sharp focus on fast-moving subjects and directors can evaluate actor timing perfectly without a trailing delay.
-
Adaptive Frequency Hopping (AFH): Operating on the 5.1 GHz to 5.85 GHz spectrum, the COSMO C2 actively scans for radio frequency (RF) clutter. If it detects heavy local Wi-Fi traffic or venue interference, it seamlessly transitions to the cleanest available channel without dropping frames or freezing the video feed.
-
Dual-Interface (HDMI + 3G-SDI) Versatility:
-
Transmitter (TX): Equipped with 1× HDMI input, 1× 3G-SDI input, and a dedicated physical 3G-SDI Loopout port so local camera operators can plug an on-camera monitor straight into the transmission block.
-
Receiver (RX): Delivers dual signal distribution via 2× HDMI outputs and 2× 3G-SDI outputs to feed high-end production switchers, directors' cages, and client multi-view monitors simultaneously.
-
-
UAC Web Camera Mode: The receiver includes a plug-and-play USB-C output supporting USB Audio Class (UAC) and USB Video Class (UVC). This lets you feed the wireless video line directly into a computer as a webcam source for instant live streaming via OBS Studio, Zoom, or vMix without requiring an external capture card.
