The Hollyland Mars 300 PRO HDMI Wireless Video Transmitter/Receiver Set (Standard Edition) is a compact, entry-level wireless video kit engineered primarily for mirrorless and DSLR camera setups.

The Standard Edition features sleek, built-in internal antennas on both the transmitter and receiver modules. This creates a low-profile, pocket-sized footprint that significantly reduces the risk of snagging cables or breaking fragile external parts when navigating tight spaces or operating on rapid run-and-gun shoots.

Core Hardware & Signal Routing Strengths

  • HDMI Loopout Architecture: The transmitter is built with dual HDMI ports. Rather than capturing separate video angles, it functions as an on-rig signal splitter: one port takes the raw input from your camera shell, while the HDMI Loopout passes that exact feed to an on-camera operator monitor or EVF without requiring standalone distribution hardware.

  • Dual HDMI Receiver Outputs: The receiver features two independent HDMI outputs, letting you feed two production monitors, a monitor and a director's cage, or a recording deck simultaneously.

  • 300ft Reception Footprint: Beams uncompressed HD video data reliably up to a 300-foot (90-meter) Line-of-Sight (LOS) radius using a secure 5 GHz frequency band.

  • Side-Mounted OLED & Thumbwheel Controls: Replaces hidden hardware dip-switches with a bright, high-contrast display matrix. Accompanied by a clickable thumbwheel, it provides instant telemetry regarding channel frequency selection, active input format resolution, and live battery cell voltages.

Versatile Monitoring & App Integration

The Mars 300 PRO standard kit adapts easily to both hardware-reliant setups and modern mobile crews. Through the HollyView App (iOS/Android), you can divide your real-time video distribution across three main configurations:

Technical Specifications Matrix

Feature Specification
Kit Standard Loadout 1 × Standard Transmitter (TX) + 1 × Standard Receiver (RX)
Antenna Architecture Fully Internalized (No external stick elements to mount)
Max Video Input/Output Up to 1080p at 50/60 fps via HDMI digital link
System Signal Latency Low latency profile of roughly 0.1 seconds (100ms)
Mounting Hardware 1/4"-20 female receiving threads on the bottom of both casings
Individual Unit Weight Lightweight shell weighing only ~136g (4.8 oz)

Dual Power Interface Architecture

To accommodate shifting on-location setups, both modules are built with dual power-input channels:

  1. Sony NP-F Battery Plates: Integrates standard Sony L-Series slots (NP-F550/750/970) directly on the rear face for total wire-free mobility.

  2. 5V/2A USB-C Power Interface: Allows both devices to be driven continuously by common portable power banks, multi-device power bricks, or standard USB phone chargers.

💡 Standard vs. Enhanced Edition Distinction: The only internal electronic difference between the Standard and Enhanced versions of the Mars 300 PRO lies in the antenna configuration. While the Standard uses completely internal antennas, the Enhanced version uses external mushroom-style antennas on the transmitter to slightly increase signal stability in environments dense with concrete walls, heavy wireless congestion, or structural steel interference.
