The Hollyland Mars T1000-4BP is a professional, full-duplex wireless intercom system designed for 5-user crews (1 station operator + 4 untethered crew members).
Unlike the later, hubless Solidcom headset lines, the Mars T1000 utilizes a classic base-and-beltpack infrastructure. The system pairs a central desktop base station with premium, rugged beltpacks and heavy-duty, single-ear monaural headsets. This architecture provides exceptionally stable transmission profiles and robust hardware protection, making it a favorite for multi-camera video production teams, live streaming crews, and corporate event technicians.
Core System Infrastructure & Engineering
-
5-User Full-Duplex Network Matrix: Operates seamlessly out of the box as a synchronous voice ring. The system anchors communication at the Base Station (which hosts a dedicated headset port for the Director) and broadcasts to 4 wireless remote beltpacks simultaneously. All operators can talk and listen at the same time without clipping each other's audio.
-
Pro Dynamic Monaural Headsets: Built specifically to conquer noisy event floors. Unlike consumer electret earsets, these kits feature professional dynamic noise-insulating microphones. They prioritize human vocal frequencies while rejecting high-decibel environmental PA leakage or stage rumble, protecting speech intelligibility.
-
Dual High-Gain Omnidirectional Antennas: The base station utilizes two external, high-efficiency fiberglass stick antennas. This spatial diversity setup ensures rock-solid coverage and helps the system mitigate multi-path signal interference in dense metallic structures like convention centers or concert trussing.
-
Shock-Absorbing Protective Rubber Cases: Each beltpack is shielded by a custom-molded, high-density rubber sleeve. This armor protects the CNC-machined aluminum chassis from direct impacts, scratches, and field drops, while improving grip for operators working in humid conditions.
Beltpack Controls & Lifecycle Realities
Each Mars T1000 beltpack incorporates an integrated 1,600mAh Lithium-Polymer battery alongside a bright front-facing OLED telemetry screen:

💡 System Expansion Cascading Potential: If your crew layout eventually outgrows the out-of-the-box 4-beltpack limit, you can scale this ecosystem upward. The base station features an RJ45 network cascade port on its rear layout. By running a standard Ethernet cable into a secondary Mars T1000 Base Station, you can cleanly link the two systems together—instantly doubling your mobile network footprint to support 8 simultaneous wireless beltpacks across the venue.
