The Hollyland Solidcom C1 Pro ENC Hub Base serves as the central command station for expanding and managing Hollyland's premium full-duplex wireless intercom networks.
While a standard Solidcom C1 Pro setup allows up to 8 remote headsets to communicate simultaneously in a master-client relationship without external hardware, introducing the ENC Hub Base unlocks advanced multi-channel team coordination, cloud conferencing routing, and extreme scale capacity.
Key Technical Enhancements of the Hub Base
-
A/B Team Grouping: The Hub splits your crew into two independent communication channels (Group A and Group B). This lets your lighting and camera crews coordinate internally without cluttering the main director audio line, though cross-communication remains an option.
-
Wired Command Station: The Hub base features a dedicated interface (such as a 10-pin LEMO connector) supporting an on-base wired master headset. This allows a stationary technical director or desk producer to anchor the network.
-
One-Touch "ANNOUNCE" Key: In critical or fast-moving situations, holding the physical Announce button instantly mutes all remote wireless headsets across the venue. This clears the channel, forcing the entire production crew to hear only the direct commands broadcast from the master hub station.
-
Cloud Collaboration Integration (UAC): Built with USB Audio Class (UAC) architecture, plugging the Hub into a computer via USB-C bridges on-site communication directly into remote meetings running on platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Skype.
Hardware Interface Configuration
The rear and side I/O panel layout acts as a versatile bridge to standard professional broadcast ecosystems:
-
2-Wire & 4-Wire Interfaces: Integrated XLR and RJ45 connection ports let you link the Hollyland wireless setup with legacy matrix systems from brands like Clear-Com, RTS, or Riedel.
-
IP Network Cascading: Up to 3 independent Hub Base units can be daisy-chained via standard IP network cables to smoothly accommodate massive multi-department live events.
-
Quad-Antenna Stability: Uses 4 external, detachable high-gain omnidirectional antennas running on the interference-free 1.9 GHz DECT 6.0 spectrum to preserve a rock-solid 350-meter (1,100-foot) line-of-sight communication radius.

Power Management Best Practice: To avoid accidental shutdowns during live mobile broadcasts, take advantage of the Hub’s triple-redundancy power bays. You can keep the system plugged into wall power via the included DC adapter while simultaneously mounting two charged NP-F batteries or a large V-Mount cell on the back. If someone accidentally trips over the master power cable, the Hub will seamlessly shift to battery power without interrupting team communication or dropping the active headset pairs.
