The Hollyland Solidcom C1 Pro Single-Ear Wired Headset is a highly specialized master-control headset designed explicitly to integrate with the Solidcom C1 Pro HUB Base Station.
Important Hardware Nuance: Unlike the original Solidcom C1 wired headset which uses a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, the Solidcom C1 Pro Wired Headset upgrades to a rugged, locking 10-pin LEMO connector (or a 0B10 standard round interface) on its integrated cable. This change ensures a secure, pull-resistant physical link to the newer C1 Pro Hub and isolates balanced audio lines natively.
When plugged into your central hub, this headset becomes the latency-free, hard-anchored "Command Central" position for directors, technical producers, or floor managers.
Core Audio & Workflow Features
-
Pro-Level Dual-Mic Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC): Borrowing the premier feature from the C1 Pro wireless line, this wired headset features an active dual-microphone array. It utilizes a directional main mic combined with a secondary ambient microphone on the outer earpiece to block out up to 20dB of low-frequency venue noise. This delivers crystal-clear vocal monitoring even when stationed directly next to loud concert speaker arrays or noisy diesel generators.
-
Push-to-Talk (PTT) & Latching Modes: The earcup housing features a physical tactile toggle switch allowing the user to seamlessly alternate between an open-mic "always on" state, a traditional "click-to-mute" cycle, or a continuous "Hold-to-Talk" configuration for brief, fast commands.
-
Flip-to-Mute Mechanics: Features Hollyland’s signature mic boom ergonomics. Rotating the microphone boom arm up past the physical detent click instantly mutes your audio transmission. Swinging the arm down opens the channel. The boom arm rotates a full 360 degrees, allowing you to wear the single earcup over either your left or right ear.
-
Zero Battery Dependency: Because it forms a physical copper connection to the powered base hub, the headset requires no internal battery packs or independent charging. It draws its minor operational voltage directly from the hub, guaranteeing uninterrupted up-time over massive 12+ hour broadcast schedules.
Hub Base Master Tools
When worn by the production lead at the HUB station, this wired headset works hand-in-hand with the hub's master overriding features:
-
A/B Team Grouping: Allows the wearer to monitor or speak to separate team channels (e.g., Channel A for Camera Operators, Channel B for Stage Hands) or join both channels simultaneously.
-
"ANNOUNCE" Emergency Key: Activating this feature on the hub instantly overrides and mutes all remote wireless headsets across the venue, forcing the entire crew to hear only the direct commands from the wired headset operator.

On-Set Integration Protocol: The C1 Pro Hub Base allows you to maximize your wireless spectrum. While a standard system operates up to 8 wireless headsets on a single radio channel, adding this wired headset to the hub expands your active local crew to 9 total users simultaneously (1 Master Wired position + 8 Remote Wireless positions) without consuming an over-the-air RF slot. If you need to scale beyond 9 users, you can daisy-chain additional C1 Pro Hubs together via standard network cables using the IP cascade ports on the back.
