The Hollyland Solidcom M1 Wireless Intercom Beltpack is a professional transceiver node designed to function as an expansion unit for the Solidcom M1 intercom series.

Operating on the license-free 1.9 GHz DECT 6.0 carrier band, this beltpack is built for medium-to-large event crews (such as camera operators, stage hands, and audio engineers) who require stable communication over a wide physical area.

Core Hardware & Signal Design

  • Dual-Antenna Spatial Diversity: Each beltpack features two distinct external antennas mounted on top. The internal RF chip constantly samples the signal strength on both antennas and auto-switches to the strongest line at any given microsecond. This spatial diversity prevents dropped audio packages caused by body shielding, physical walls, or equipment racks.

  • On-Board 3-Group Selection Matrix: The front of the beltpack features three large, tactile, backlit buttons labeled A, B, and C. Operators can change their communication group mid-event with a single tap. The backlights are color-coded to let team leads see at a glance which department channel an individual user is currently monitoring.

  • Ergonomic "Mute/Talk" Top Key: Placed prominently on top of the unit between the antennas is a physical push-switch. This tactile button allows the operator to alternate between a hands-free "Always-on Talk" loop or a "Click-to-Mute" configuration. It also functions as a Push-To-Talk (PTT) trigger when held down.

  • Integrated Status OLED: Features a clear, high-contrast display screen on the front face. It allows the wearer to monitor vital metrics directly in the field, including remaining battery runtime, current RF signal stability, assigned group lettering, and local beltpack connection states.

Multi-Platform Headset Interface

Unlike smaller consumer walkie-talkies, the Solidcom M1 beltpack is designed to align with professional studio monitoring hardware by integrating dual connection interfaces:

  1. Lemo 8-Pin Interface: A rugged, lockable, pull-resistant metal connection point optimized for Hollyland's professional standard double-ear and single-ear headsets.

  2. 3.5mm Headphone Jack: A universal secondary interface port allowing crew members to tap in standard consumer earbuds, specialized in-ear monitors (IEMs), or customized mobile communication headsets.

Technical Specifications Matrix
