The Hollyland Solidcom SE-6S is a professional 6-person wireless intercom system engineered to provide small-to-medium video production crews, house of worship teams, and event managers with a highly cost-effective, hands-free communication loop.

By eliminating the need for bulky external belt-packs, the system houses all transceiver components directly inside the headset frame. This 6S configuration provides an out-of-the-box solution for a team of six to converse seamlessly with advanced noise reduction.

Core Audio & RF Engineering Features

  • True Full-Duplex Workflow: Operates as an open, hands-free conversational link. Unlike standard walkie-talkies that require push-to-talk button activation and block the channel while one person speaks, full-duplex technology lets all 6 users speak and listen at the same time.

  • Dual-Mic Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC): Built with an intelligent dual-microphone array that dynamically targets and suppresses up to 20dB of low-frequency ambient background noise. Boasting a 71dB Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), it isolates the user's voice completely for clean talkback in loud concert venues, sports arenas, or windy outdoor shoots.

  • Stable Range with Auto-Hopping: Maintains a rock-solid, line-of-sight communication range of up to 1,100 feet (350 meters). An internal automatic frequency-tuning algorithm continuously monitors for RF congestion and seamlessly shifts channels to protect against dropped signals.

  • Dual Muting Configurations: Designed with intuitive, physical control logic to handle fast-paced production changes:

    • Flip-to-Mute Boom: Raising the microphone arm vertically automatically cuts the mic line.

    • Latching Push-to-Talk (PTT) Button: Features a dedicated chassis button on the earcup that allows users to seamlessly toggle between an open-mic latched line and a quick press-to-talk mode.

Kit Architecture & Scaling

The Solidcom SE-6S system utilizes a decentralized Master-to-Remote topology:

  • The Master Anchor: The kit includes 1 Master Headset and 5 Remote Headsets. The Master headset acts as the processing hub that blends the wireless signals. If the Master headset is powered off or out of range, the Remote headsets cannot communicate with one another.

  • Factory Pre-Paired: The system arrives factory pre-paired. Operators simply insert the batteries, power on the units, and the encrypted communication network initializes automatically within seconds.

Technical Specifications Matrix

Feature Specification
User Capacity Configuration 6 Persons Max (1 × Master Headset + 5 × Remote Headsets)
Wireless Core Carrier Region Dependent: 1.9 GHz DECT or 2.4 GHz Global Bandwidth
Line-of-Sight Range (LOS) Up to 1,100 Feet (350 Meters)
Acoustic Noise Reduction Dual-Mic ENC / > 20dB Attenuation Depth
Frequency Response Curve 150 Hz to 7 kHz (Optimized for vocal clarity)
Headset Power Runtime Master Headset: ~10 Hours | Remote Headsets: ~12 Hours
Recharging Window < 3 Hours via multi-slot dock or side-mounted USB-C ports
Environmental Protection IPX4 Water-Resistant (Resists sweat and light drizzle)
Net Headset Weight Approx. 185.2 grams (6.53 oz) per node with battery inserted

What is Included in the Box

  • 1 × Master Headset (Single-Ear Over-Ear Profile)

  • 5 × Remote Headsets (Single-Ear Over-Ear Profile)

  • 12 × Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery Packs (Provides a full backup set for hot-swapping)

  • 1 × Multi-Slot Battery Charging Base

  • 1 × USB-A to USB-C Cable

  • 1 × Ruggedized Hard Shell Carrying Case

  • Numbered identification stickers

On-Set Power Rotation Tip: Because the Master Headset manages the signal matrix for all five remotes, its battery expends energy faster, yielding roughly 10 hours of runtime compared to the 12 hours provided by the Remote nodes. When assigning batteries from the charging dock during a mid-day turnaround, always place the freshest battery pack into the Master headset first to prevent an accidental communication blackout across the entire crew.
