The Hollyland 12V/2A DC2.1 Power Adapter (Model Series: HL-DCA04) is the official factory spare mains power supply built specifically to drive the main station hub of the Hollyland Wireless Tally System.

While generic multi-voltage power bricks are easy to find, the main station box requires clean, continuous current to manage the 1.9GHz wireless frequency conversion down to individual field lamps. This OEM power supply features an integrated threaded locking ring to prevent accidental power drops mid-broadcast.

 

Core Electrical & Mechanical Features

  • Threaded Locking DC Barrel: The output cable ends in a specialized standard-polarity DC 2.1mm barrel plug equipped with a rotating metal security collar. Once inserted into the base station's power input, twisting the metal ring threads it tightly into the chassis, preventing the cable from being yanked out if someone trips over the cord.

  • Regulated Linear Suppressors: Built with internal over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuit protection grids. This electrical filtering stops grid-side voltage spikes from bleeding through to the transmitter, protecting the sensitive internal logic chips handling your switcher's relay data.

  • Interchangeable Wall-Prong Matrix: The transformer brick features a modular, rotating mounting plate design. Depending on regional box packaging variants (US, EU, UK, or AU), the core wall adapter slips and clicks onto the brick casing effortlessly, making it highly adaptable for international tour packaging.

If you lose this adapter in the field and need a temporary generic replacement, double-check that your backup is explicitly rated for 12V output and Center-Positive polarity. Plugging an over-voltage adapter or a center-negative block into your Hollyland hub will bypass the safety fuses and instantly fry the internal circuit boards.
