The Hollyland Bullet-Styled Antenna (Model: HL-ATN11) is an official OEM replacement and performance-upgrade antenna kit designed for several generations of Hollyland’s flagship wireless video transmitters, receivers, and field monitors.

Traditional long "paddle" or cylindrical antennas provide excellent range but are highly vulnerable to snapping, bending, or catching on clothing and overhead branches during active camera movements. The bullet-styled antenna swaps out those fragile extensions for a highly durable, low-profile capsule design. It is built specifically to shrug off impact on high-action sets while maintaining robust, low-latency video feeds.

Core RF & Structural Features

  • Ultra-Compact, Low-Profile Footprint: The "stubby" capsule design keeps the camera rig incredibly streamlined. By reducing the physical clearance needed at the top or back of the video unit, it makes it much easier to balance the camera on heavy 3-axis motorized gimbals, crane jibs, or tight vehicle interior suction mounts.

  • Impact-Resistant Ruggedized Housing: Enclosed in a thick, high-durability polycarbonate shell that eliminates exposed internal flexible wires. It is purpose-built to withstand accidental drops, equipment bumps, and the heavy wear-and-tear of run-and-gun documentary or commercial film sets.

  • Omnidirectional Signal Sphere: Despite its small size, the internal antenna layout propagates a uniform 360-degree horizontal RF shield. This guarantees stable, multi-directional transmission and minimizes line-of-sight dropouts when the camera operator spins or changes angles rapidly.

  • Standard Gold-Plated RP-SMA Connection: Features a high-tolerance Reverse Polarity SMA (RP-SMA) internal thread that screws directly onto the transmitter or receiver's RF posts. The brass connection layout maximizes conductivity and eliminates signal leakage.

System Interoperability

This multi-generation wireless accessory operates natively across standard 5.1 GHz to 5.8 GHz video transmission frequencies and is fully cross-compatible with:

  • Mars Series Hardware: Hollyland Mars 4K, Mars 400S Pro, and Mars 300 Pro wireless transmission systems.

  • Monitor Infrastructure: Mars M1 and Mars M1 Enhanced wireless transceiver monitors.

  • Cosmo Series Hardware: Cosmo C1 wireless SDI/HDMI setups.

Technical Specifications Matrix

Feature Specification
Official Model SKU HL-ATN11 (Part Family: Compact Wireless Video Spares)
Antenna Body Form Profile Bullet-Styled / Stubby Omnidirectional Configuration
Target Working Frequencies 5.1 GHz to 5.8 GHz Bandwidth Optimization
Coaxial Connector Interface Threaded RP-SMA Female
Chassis Build Base Heavy-Duty Polycarbonate Wrap
Color Trim Profile Production Matte Black with Accent Red ID Banding

On-Set Wireless Rigging Best Practice: Because bullet-styled antennas have a slightly shorter physical length than traditional long paddles, their signals don't rise as far above the metal body of your camera or battery plate. To maximize your transmission range, avoid burying the wireless unit deep inside a dense metal camera cage or directly sandwiched between a large V-mount battery and the camera body. Mount the transmitter high enough on your rig so that the red-ringed caps of these bullet antennas have a clear, unobstructed path toward the director's monitor.
