The Hollyland USB-C to USB-C Cable (Model: HL-CTC01) is an official factory-spare digital audio patch cord engineered specifically to pipe crystal-clear, uncompressed audio from the LARK MAX wireless microphone receiver directly into modern USB-C host devices.
When pairing a premium microphone system with a smartphone, tablet, or mirrorless camera, generic consumer USB-C cables often fail. Many charging cables only carry power or are poorly shielded, which can introduce digital artifacts, a high-pitched background whine, or cause the device to reject the receiver entirely. This OEM cable is built with dedicated internal data-routing pairs to establish a lossless digital connection right out of the gate.
Core Hardware & Digital Link Features
-
Lossless OTG Digital Audio Stream: Operates on an On-The-Go (OTG) digital handshaking protocol. This transfers the high-fidelity 24-bit/48kHz audio directly from the LARK MAX internal DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) into your recording software, bypassing noisy headphone jacks and cheap internal preamps.
-
Space-Saving Right-Angle Plug: One end of the cable features a tight, 90-degree right-angle USB-C profile. This low-profile design sits flush against your smartphone, laptop port, or camera cage, keeping the cable completely clear of your hands and preventing it from unbalancing a motorized gimbal.
-
Premium Shielding Against Wireless Noise: Wrapped in a high-density, multi-layer internal shielding braid. Because the cable sits adjacent to high-output wireless transmitters and mobile phone cellular antennas, this insulation rejects electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio-frequency buzz.
-
Heavy-Duty Strain-Relief Boots: Both terminal housings feature long, molded rubber strain-relief collars. These boots absorb the physical flexing, twisting, and sudden tugs that occur during rapid handheld shooting or run-and-gun street interviews.
System Interoperability
This universal high-fidelity digital bridge links your main wireless receiver directly to modern hardware environments, matching seamlessly with:

On-Set Digital Audio Synchronization Advice
To ensure your mobile phone or camera seamlessly switches its audio source over to the wireless mic, always turn on your LARK MAX receiver first and let it establish a solid radio link with the transmitters. After the receiver is awake, plug the straight USB-C end into the receiver and the right-angle end into your smartphone or camera. This specific plugging sequence forces the host operating system to immediately detect the active external sound card interface, preventing the system from default-routing your recording through the phone's lower-quality built-in microphones.
