The Kiloview E3 is a highly versatile, professional hardware video encoder designed for multi-platform live streaming, remote production, and broadcast workflows. It is particularly powerful because it allows you to ingest, mix, and stream two distinct video sources simultaneously.

Key Capabilities

  • True Dual-Channel Ingest: Features both a 4K HDMI input (up to 4Kp30) and a 3G-SDI input (up to 1080p60). Both inputs include independent loop-through outputs, allowing you to inline the device without losing your original video feeds.

  • Flexible Video Layouts: You can encode each input independently as separate streams, or mix them into a single layout using Picture-in-Picture (PIP) or Picture-by-Picture (PBP) modes.

  • Massive Multi-Destination Streaming: Powered by an updated chipset, the E3 can stream to up to 16 destinations simultaneously. It manages this by outputting up to 8 mainstream channels (at 1080p) and 8 substream channels (at 720p).

  • Universal Protocol Support: It covers virtually every major modern IP standard, including NDI|HX3, NDI|HX2, SRT, RTMP, RTMPS, RTSP, HLS, and TS over UDP. This makes it equally suited for high-end local IP production (NDI) and long-distance internet transmission (SRT/RTMP).

  • Bandwidth Efficiency: Supports both H.264 (AVC) and H.265 (HEVC) compression. Utilizing H.265 allows you to maintain identical video quality while slicing your necessary upload bandwidth by up to 50%.
