The Libec HS-150M is a professional video support system bundle. It features a continuous perfect counterbalance fluid head tailored for smaller, modern camera setups.
This specific configuration utilizes a mid-level spreader, making it highly effective for fast deployment on uneven field terrain, stairs, and outdoor paths. It is optimized for compact mirrorless rigs, small hand-held camcorders, and minimal camera configurations weighing up to six point six pounds or three kilograms.
Component Breakdown
-
H15 Fluid Head: A seventy-five millimeter dual-base fluid head with a flat bottom and half-ball casing. It features a continuous counterbalance spring adjusted via a rear control knob, letting you balance very light setups precisely. The head provides a fixed fluid drag resistance optimized for smooth panning and tilting, alongside an illuminated bubble level for easy leveling in dark venues.
-
RT30B Tripod Legs: High-stability, two-stage aluminum alloy legs utilizing robust die-cast metal casings at the upper leg hinges. Built with an industry-standard seventy-five millimeter bowl diameter, these legs offer excellent torsional resistance to counteract whip-pans. Leg extensions are firmly secured using rapid rotary clamping levers.
-
BR-2B Mid-Level Spreader: A telescopic, locking mid-level spreader built from durable engineered resin. By bracing the legs higher up from the ground rather than at floor level, it allows the tripod legs to be set up securely at staggered heights on stairs, steep slopes, or rocky terrain.
-
FP-2B Rubber Feet: A set of three thick, snap-on rubber pads that fit tightly over the built-in lower leg metal spikes. These protect delicate indoor surfaces, gym floors, or polished studio tiling from scratches while increasing friction to prevent slipping.
-
RC-30 Carrying Case: A custom-contoured, water-resistant nylon transport bag. It features a heavy-duty, end-to-end zipper layout, reinforced carry handles, and an adjustable shoulder strap to safely house the collapsed system during travel.

Operational System Tips for the HS-150M:
💡 Tuning Extremely Light Cages: Because the H15 head is designed for ultra-light payloads, a bare mirrorless camera might sometimes feel slightly too light for the counterbalance spring even at its lowest setting. If you find the head trying to push the camera back to center too aggressively, try adding a small accessory like an on-camera microphone, a top handle, or a heavier battery pack. Bringing the total payload closer to three or four pounds lets the continuous spring operate right in its sweet spot.
-
Universal Mounting Versatility: The dual-base flat bottom layout means you can move this fluid head between your tripod legs and other gear smoothly. If your production requires a slider tracking shot, simply undo the seventy-five millimeter tie-down knob beneath the bowl, lift the head out, and spin it onto the three-eighths inch screw of your slider carriage.
