If your shoot takes you onto rugged exterior terrain, steep hillsides, or stadium stairs, you should swap the SP-15B out for a mid-level spreader (BR-6B) and rubber feet (FP-6B). Forcing a ground spreader onto uneven or stepped ground forces the spreader arms to twist off-axis, loading uneven bending strain onto the tripod's lower joints and creating a tipping hazard for heavy camera rigs.
